Oguz Gurbuz

Oguz joined the Fugro Robertson Limited Reservoir Team in 2007. He holds a BSc Degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. His main areas of interest are reservoir simulation and classical reservoir engineering analysis where he has acquired hands on experience and completed several projects. He has completed history matching and simulation studies for a heavy oil, condensate under gas recycling, fractured carbonate under water injection and tight gas reservoirs.

He is a proficient user of market leading classical reservoir engineering software for pressure transient analyses, material balance, surface modelling and well performance modelling. He has in depth knowledge of integrating several classical engineering methods at the different stages of projects.

Oguz has attended many data rooms and performed technical evaluations of various upstream projects within the multi disciplinary team of FRL. He has proved to be a proactive team member by promoting the cross disciplinary communication which is a vital part of the work at FRL.
