David Parry

David Parry retired as General Manager of the Petroleum Reservoir & Economics Group at the end of 2008. Prior to his role with Fugro Robertson Limited he was the Managing Director of Beardall, Parry & Associates Limited, a UK based petroleum reservoir consultancy. He has nearly 30 years experience in the valuation of oil and gas fields, prospects and companies, both in the North Sea and internationally. David is also a very experienced lecturer, having provided industry-training courses for the past 12 years to personnel from over 150 different organisations around the world, including Imperial College in London.

Prior to forming his own company, David was a Director of ERC, one of the UK's leading petroleum engineering and economics consultancies. He joined ERC in 1992 after 9 years with British Gas Exploration and Production and 3 years with Arco, during which he gained a broad range of reservoir engineering, economics and finance experience in the North Sea and internationally. His final position with British Gas E&P was Manager, Reserves and Economics.

David's contribution to the petroleum industry has been vast and he is well respected by his peers. BP&A would like to thank him for his input and support over the years and wish him all the very best for the future.
